Online Registration
Online Registration is through the MyVote Wisconsin website. The site will check if you are currently registered, and if not will guide you through the process. Online registration will only accept a valid driver's license or state ID card. If you are using a different form of ID, it is best to register directly with your municipal clerk. You must register online more than 40 days before an election. If you are registering closer to the election, you must do so in person.
In Person Registration
You register in person at your local Municipal Clerk's office. Your local office can be found on the MyVote Wisconsin website. You must register on or before the Friday before the election. You may also register at the polling location during voting, but you will be provided with a provisional ballot pending confirmation. If registering when voting, you must provide valid identification.
