Protect Democracy at the Polls in 2022!

If you are at all interested in helping keep our elections open and honest, BE A POLL WORKER.

Poll workers are needed across the county. You can work at any poll location within the county as long as you live in the county. Poll workers are paid for their time; although, the city does accept volunteers. If you'd like to be paid, you will have to fill out a W-4. Poll workers can sign up for half day or full day shifts. The clerk who organizes the poll workers will ask you when you want to work.

If you are interested, please send Anita Klein your name, address, phone number, and email address. She will send them to the clerk in your area. Also indicate if you are willing to work outside your immediate area.

The deadline to sign up is October 23, 2021.

As in previous years, clerks are generally committed to obtaining lists of poll worker candidates from both parties. However, you may also work as an unaffiliated poll worker by contacting your local clerk directly.

There are four elections in 2022: the February Primary, April Spring, August Primary, and November General. It will be important to have people of integrity in place.

To sign up or ask questions, please contact Anita Klein at 920-980-3963 or aklein4@wi.rr.com. To sign up directly with the city of Sheboygan, contact Deputy City Clerk Melissa Clevenger at (920) 459-3363 or melissa.clevenger@sheboyganwi.gov.
