As I write this, the polls open in Wisconsin in fifteen minutes. You can vote from 7am to 8pm in Wisconsin. As long as you are in line before 8pm you have a right to vote.

If you need to know where to vote or what you need to bring with you to register at the polls, go to gottavote.com or myvote.wi.gov. You DO NOT need photo ID to vote this election.

If you have any problems at the polls or are not allowed to vote when you feel you have the right to, call the Voter Protection Hotline at 1-855-VOTE-177.

We ask that you support our candidates, President Barack Obama, Vice President Joe Biden, Rep. Tammy Baldwin, Joe Kallas, Tanya Lohr, Mike Helmke, Steve Bauer, Ellen Schleicher, Dave Wehrwein, Joe DeCecco, and Laura Henning-Lorenz.

If you’ve already voted, come and help us out at the Democratic Headquarters (816 Erie Ave.) and make sure all our supporters get to the polls today.

Don’t forget about the victory party at Emil Mazey Hall (5425 Superior Ave.) after the polls close. Come and cheer on all our candidates and watch the results live with fellow supporters and great food.

Thank you!
