Don’t forget, the debate is back on tonight! Let’s pick it up where we left off – with a great crowd, great support for Mike Helmke and great questions for both!

Debate Between Mike Helmke and Mike Endsley @ JMKAC and Online scheduled to resume TONIGHT, Thursday, NOVEMBER 1st

Let’s have a huge turnout for Mike Helmke at this debate!

Lakeland College and The Sheboygan Press are partnering this month to bring voters in Wisconsin’s 26th Assembly District a chance to hear from the two candidates squaring off in the Nov. 6 election.

On Thursday, November 1st, beginning at 7 p.m. at the theater in the John Michael Kohler Arts Center, 608 New York Ave., Sheboygan, Democrat Mike Helmke and Republican Mike Endsley will resume a discussion of the issues facing the 26th District and the state.  The original debate was cut short after Endsley fell ill and left early.

Rick Dodgson, assistant professor of history at Lakeland, will moderate the interactive evening, which will resume where it left off with a discussion of Act 10 and include questions from audience members. The event is free and open to the public. The Sheboygan Press will live stream the event on its website, www.sheboyganpress.com.
