We are very pleased to announce that our special guest for this year’s Spring Dinner will be recently returned member of the Wisconsin 14, Senator Lena Taylor.
Along with her colleagues, Senator Taylor heroically but reluctantly left the State she loves and serves to shed light on a bill that is absolutely devastating
to Wisconsin’s middle class.
Senator Taylor has graciously accepted our invitation to speak at this year’s dinner and to share with us the work that Democrats are doing in Congress for the people of Wisconsin.
The Senator will speak at the dinner about her experience in Illinois with the rest of the Wisconsin 14 while they were there working for the people of this State to prevent the destruction of the Wisconsin Way. She also will speak to the importance of keeping up this momentum as we head into the 2012 election season.
Senator Taylor has served the people of Wisconsin’s 4th District in the Senate since 2005 and previously represented the 18th District in the Assembly from 2003-2005.
The dinner will be held on Friday, May 6th at Jakum’s Hall, 2601 N. 15th Street in Sheboygan. For tickets please call Cynthia Devine at 467-3285.
Dinner will be $20 per person. Social “Hour” from 5pm to 6:30pm, Dinner at 6:30pm and our Speaker at 7pm.
Silent auction donations may be dropped off at Flossie Meyer’s home, 200 N. 6th Street in Sheboygan Falls. This is a new area, north of the Piggly Wiggly on Fond Du Lac Ave. and doesn’t show up on many maps yet but is easy to locate.
We hope to see you all there on May 6th.
