Thank you to Governor Jim Doyle for coming to Sheboygan to Campaign for Barack Obama and stress the importance of our Get Out the Vote Effort and Early Voting.  We had a wonderful turnout for the event and afterward several dozen voters and their children marched to City Hall to show the City the importance and ease of early voting.  Many present cast their vote at the City Clerk’s office after the parade.

The Sheboygan Press has photos of the event which can be seen HERE.

The Sheboygan City Clerk’s office, 828 Center Ave, will be open on Saturday from 9am to 2pm to accommodate registrations and early voting by absentee ballot due to the high volume seen in the last few weeks.  On Monday they will be open from 9am to 6pm.  You can always register to vote at the polls on Election Day, but why not avoid the lines?

Governor Jim Doyle will be coming to the Obama Campaign HQ, 501 N. 8th Street in Sheboygan on Friday, October 31st @ 1:30pm.  Everyone is invited to come and hear the Governor speak about the importance of electing Barack Obama for Wisconsin and America and to encourage people to Vote Early!

Whether you have already voted or not you’re welcome to come and hear this message.  If you have not yet voted, we would especially encourage you to come and listen to this important message.  Afterward the Governor will be parading around the corner to City Hall with Sheboygan residents who have not yet voted and/or registered to vote.

Be a part of history in an exciting way by casting your vote early with the Governor of our State.  If you’re not a Sheboygan City resident, come anyway and then vote early in your municipality.

Since the election of Barack Obama is so important, after you have voted please help us reach out to more people in our Community by volunteering for Get Out The Vote Weekend and Election Day.  This is the most important election of our lifetime, please take a few hours to help make sure we win the White House for Barack Obama and Joe Biden.
